Loneliness, Spiritual Growth and Starseed Phenomenon

When I was younger I would often have bouts of loneliness where I felt like I didn’t belong or fit in and I always had a sense that there was something far greater beyond reality. I had a fascination with the stars, tarot cards, astrology, psychic ability and a very sensitive intuition. I would pick up the energies of people and took them on as though they were mine. I would disregard my psychic ability and think I was making stuff up that wasn’t true and I would be easily freaked out by energies, in particular houses and rooms that were holding negative energy.

I disliked learning at school as I couldn’t take in information the way it was relayed to me which often meant I struggled to digest it. I had a deep knowing when people were lying or being deceptive, it’s an innate inner lie detector which resulted in a feeling that all was not what it seemed in the world. This led me into researching more about conspiracies and discovering that some actually resonated to what I already knew was happening in the world, and have since been proven.

It was about 20 years later I had what is described as an awakening. I discovered books that I loved to read that were often about love, kindness, healing and meditation, I felt a calling to research deeper into the spiritual realms and came across the Starseed and Indigo Children phenomenon. Upon reading it I had a profound click, it was like a “coming home” and finally I could accept my uniqueness and feel connected to some kind of identity. As the fog lifted, I continued on eagerly with my research and found solace in studying Astrology and Pleiadian teachings, the energies of which I continue to use in my writing and my work with clients. Astrology comes very natural to me, my mind takes the information in like a sponge and I use my intuition as my guidance system building on knowledge that is already there.

If you have been drawn to read this article, perhaps what I am writing resonates, or perhaps you know someone who has had similar experiences. I wanted to open up on something very personal to help more young people and adults step in to their power, we all have special gifts and a purpose to being here. It is important to see yourself as gifted rather than suppressing, feeling depressed, lonely or fearful. Bizarre, out of the norm experiences and feelings can be very difficult to articulate without creating confusion or backlash which can cause a further disconnection and isolation. It’s important to harness your gifts, as you are here to make a difference in your own way. I now use my gifts in my work as I’m able to read people’s energies very easily, this allows me to dive deeper into personal blocks through my coaching work and facilitate my clients’ healing and transformation.

What is the Starseed, Indigo and Crystal Children phenomenon?

This may be a question that has come up if you resonate or are curious with what I have shared so far. Though I’m not a big fan of labels because they separate, I will use them for now as it does help to integrate a connection and align with an identity. Empaths, Starseeds, Indigos and Crystal Children will resonate with some of the following:

• You feel wise beyond your age or feel like an “old soul”
• You have a strong intuition
• You ‘’know’’ and “feel” things that are beyond explanation
• You feel like an “outsider”, lonely or isolated
• You feel an almost telepathic connection to others
• An ability to predict events before they happen
• You have out of body experiences
• A gift of seeing the potential in people and situations
• You can read energies or see auras
• You have an inner lie detector; a strong sense of when someone is lying or twisting the truth
• You feel highly sensitive and need respite from loud or busy environments
• You need to re-charge your energy at the end of each day with rest
• Psychic ability, mind reading and telepathy
• Highly intelligent beyond age and/or hyperactive, energetic, fidgety
• Have a strong feeling of wanting to create change with inequality and justice
• Have a strong compassion and desire to make right what is wrong
• A strong capacity to hold compassion, empathy and love
• You are a passionate observer of truth and integrity
• Have a yearning to learn what is beyond this reality
• You find classroom learning a challenge
• Are drawn to the esoteric and spiritual realms

These Starseed, Indigo and Crystal/Rainbow terms are used to describe the energies and DNA of souls incarnating into the body to help move humanity through intense energetic changes. The term “moving from 3D to 5D” is a very frequent reference in the spiritual community and this is because the earth is going through changes in its energetic field (see Schumann Resonance and spikes in the Schumann Resonance). I could write for hours on the topic but typically the old systems are being broken down to create a “new earth” free of oppressive limitation, greed, pollution, patriarchy, evil and fear mongery. We have seen this manifest for some time now certainly within our “organisations” political systems and shocking revelations in areas that were once deemed trusted such as abuse in the music industry, Catholic Church and Hollywood. We are seeing many people holding prayer, healing their bodies with their minds and an awakening of humanity in compassion, love and heart energy.

You can learn more about the energy of the heart through heart science research. It’s all part of the movement and has been predicted in the ancient scribes around the world for eons. The other tangible change is the concept of time. Time has sped up in exponential ways, if you remember how long a day felt just 10 years ago in comparison to how a day feels now, a 12 hour day now feels like an 8 hour day. This is all part of the earth’s shift in energy.

My intention behind this article is to shed light and help our gifted young people to have the courage to come forth and utilise their innate gifts and vaults of wisdom because there are many coming through, particularly those born from late 1990’s to 2000 onward and I have already worked with some of them.

Advice for Parents

If you are a parent reading this, you may have a child who has been expressing similar behaviours and energies or saying particular things that don’t make sense. Perhaps you have sent them to a therapist because your child is hyperactive and can’t cope with school. Sadly, the current school system is not ideal for most sensitive children because they take in information differently. Other classic signs of sensitive children are hyperactivity, mis-behaviour, learning difficulties. The label of ADHD can be misinterpreted to sensitive children because they can bring a lot of different energy in that is unfamiliar or out of the norm. They can’t always integrate with their peers because their field is very different. I am not suggesting that every child who has the label of ADHD is necessarily of Starseed essence but if any of the above resonates then they need to be encouraged to utilise their special gifts and work with someone who understands their “world”.
