Self Mastery – Magnetism of the Mind and the Power of Directed Focus
“True self-mastery is learning to trust your intuition and direct your powerful intentions. When you consciously use the power of thought and emotion, you can create and achieve many things.”
Many people are living out their life in an unconscious way, this can either be in chime with what they want, but often it’s not deliberate. Generally the unconscious way is a little faulty and potholed. How this may play out is a personal thing but some examples could be; unhappiness in work and career, driving the same routines each day but feeling defeated, lacking a deep sense of purpose, challenging habits and behaviours. These are quite classic examples of people who come to me for help, these things were also everything I experienced as well.
The challenge is when people cannot see outside their own tunnel vision of reality, the mind and body get used to performing in a certain way, it could feel unsafe to make a change and very scary. But did you know that the mind loves to learn, change and grow? We are not here to live out the same mundane responsibilities and stick with what feels safe, we are naturally programmed to expand and evolve. Whether you are a mother who has lost her identity during parenthood or you’re in a career you feel heavily attached to but unfulfilled, there is always opportunity, creativity and a chance to do something a little different. But where should you start?
- Make a decision to change something
- Make a list of everything you want to change
- Visualise yourself playing out your new role or new way of life
- Intend, believe and take action – small steps are better than nothing!
The Power of Creating Your Probable Future
There are many ways we create, be it thoughts, feelings, emotions and taking action. The mind and body are in constant communication and influenced to think and behave in the way we tell it to. By carrying out repetitive thoughts and actions our body responds in synergy. Eventually we can think in such recurrent ways that we automatically perform and operate at a very subconscious level, acting out and even physically playing out these thoughts. This is why it’s important to focus more wisely. Of course it is unrealistic to be in control every second of the day, but giving yourself time to go inside and tune in to what your deepest desires are, will certainly help to bring it to you. Take time to give directed focus and take action. Also listen to your body, is it aching and tired? There’s a clue.
Can you recall a time in your life where you put immense power and strength into something and felt great as a result by achieving it?
Athletes are constantly pushing themselves towards goals that seem unreachable when they start out. Things only seem reachable or unachievable depending on your belief at the time so the more you push your comfort zone, the more you will believe you can do something. The biggest transformation comes when there is absolute commitment to changing. We have a power and force of “will” within all of us that is beyond scientific explanation and we have natural gifts that we can access daily in order to keep our life in balance.
My passion is to bring the true art of self-mastery into the spotlight, into people’s conscious minds in a modern and accepted way. You are more powerful than you think!
